Monster Face Rice Crispy Treats:
Unwrap rice crispy treats, or if you made your own from scratch remove them from the pan. Microwave 1/4th of the green candy melts in a small bowl for 20 seconds at a time until fully melted. Be sure to keep an eye on it.
Dip the rice crispy treats and use a knife to smooth the chocolate around the sides and front, this doesn’t have to be perfectly smooth. The texture makes them look more like monsters once it’s hardened. Lay the treats flat on a pan or plate, use the eyeballs and other sprinkles to make silly faces. The chocolate will harden within 5-10 minutes, you can put them in the fridge if you are in a rush.
Chocolate Covered Strawberry Pops:
Cut all of the tops off of the strawberries and wash them. Microwave half the bag of black candy melts, and in a separate bowl microwave half the bag of orange candy melts, for 20 seconds at a time until fully melted.
Press one strawberry onto the tip of the lollipop stick, dunk it into the black chocolate and gently swirl it around to cover it. Next, while that chocolate is still melted, press another strawberry down against the first and onto the stick. This way you won’t blemish the chocolate of the first strawberry, but can move it down before it dries.
Dunk and swirl the second strawberry in the orange chocolate. Then lay the entire lollipop down onto a plate and decorate as desired while the chocolate is still soft.
After washing the raspberries, microwave 1/4th of the bag of white candy melts in 20 second intervals until fully melted. Once melted, put your pointer finger into the raspberry and dunk it into the chocolate.
You know you’ll want to have a whole hand full of little ghosts.👻 Put two black sprinkles on it for eyes, and use your ghost shaped sprinkles to make hands on the sides of the raspberries. Lastly, slide the raspberry off of your finger and onto a plate or pan to dry.
There you have it! Some festive last minute Halloween treats that are sure to be a Spooktacular hit!
