It’s the beginning of November, Halloween is over and we’ve got a long three weeks until Thanksgiving break. What that calls for is a tall order of comfort food and we have the perfect recipe: Pumpkin French Toast. Have it for breakfast, second breakfast, as a midnight snack… however often you need to stay warm inside and out until turkey day.
Pumpkin French Toast Recipe
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of pumpkin
1 tblsp light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Loaf of Challah
1. Add the first 7 ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix with a wooden spoon.
2. Cut thick slices of Challah and dip them in your milk mixture on both sides.
3. Heat up a frying pan with butter. Fry each Challah slice on both sides until toasted and golden brown.
4. Add butter, syrup, powdered sugar, jam, or whatever else your heart desires and dig in!
