Fall is easily one of my favorite times of the year. It’s a time where the weather is perfect, leaves are changing colors and the fashion is at its all time high. From layers to jackets to hats, here are some the Fall 2019 Fashion trends to help you have a smooth transition into the season.
Corsets have easily become a staple Fall piece. Now I know what you’re thinking, this sounds absurd, I know but it’s a good way to provide layers on top of an outfit while also making you look like a legend. Recently, the Victorian era has been making a comeback and has been seen on the runways everywhere. Especially corsets.
Celebrities such as Kim Kardashian West, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Rihanna, J Lo, and more have been seen wearing this bold trend. It doesn’t have to be anything insanely crazy (unless that’s your style) but it can be something as simple as the examples below. There are tops that even come with built in corsets to make this trend even easier to incorporate into your everyday style.
Blazers are not something that can JUST be worn to work. It’s easy to dress up and down for any occasion. It’s a perfect way to add a little something to your outfit whether it be over a nice top or a shirt, you really can’t go wrong with a blazer.
It’s an easy basic to have in your closet because it truly can go with anything and is extremely versatile to any look you are trying to go for. This trend is seen everywhere from street style to the runways itself, designers have each created their own interpretation of a classic blazer.
Plaid is another essential to have in your closet. It’s a fun way to add something underneath or over, a great layering piece. It adds texture to any outfit making it look even more put together.
Although plaids have been in the fashion scene for some time, the plaid looks have moved away from the bright reds to more neutral and muted tones. This is not only easier to style with any color but it creates a classic yet stylish look.
Animal Print has easily become a major trend in the last couple of years. It’s an easy way to make a statement without being too over the top. Some of the most popular looks include a printed skirt with an oversized t-shirt as well as oversized jackets.
If you’re like me who wants to be adventurous in terms of their wardrobe every once in a while, this trend is perfect. It’s subtle, but also not in the most classic way possible. It also is a perfect way to tie in Fall tones.
Statement hats are not just a look for the Summer. Hats are the perfect way to hide bad hair days and they make it look like you put an effort towards your outfit (even though you probably didn’t). I like to think of hats as the cherry on top of a sundae. It’s the perfect way to complete an outfit.
It’s also a unique way to slowly branch out of your comfort zone. If you’re an avid beanie wearer, a beret is a cute yet simple alternative. If you’re a die hard baseball cap fan, there’s a “conductor” hat that could be your new go to. Statement hats are the new essential pieces to make any outfit.
