4 Shows on Netflix to Binge During the Holidays

It's time to get your binge on!

The holiday season tends to bring about a lot of emotions, both good and bad. Depending on your family situation, you may or may not be excited as we approach the holidays. Students took a much needed break for Thanksgiving to then tackle finals with the glimmer of winter break and all it’s festivities just ahead. All in all, people will be home and they’ll be taking a break. No matter what you plan to do, you need to take advantage of this beautiful time and these four Netflix shows will help you do just that.

The Haunting of Hill House

I finally finished this recently and let’s just say I’m obsessed. The story follows the Crain family as they navigate their troubled childhood and search for answers relating to a tragic event. This of course is all set within and around a haunted house with an abundance of ghosts. You don’t have to be a horror junkie to enjoy this show. It’s scariness is subtle enough to keep you satisfied through all 10 episodes.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

We have a whole amazing article about Sabrina that you need to read ASAP. All I’ll say is if you love the dark style of Riverdale and are fascinated by witches then this show is right up your alley.

The Bodyguard

I haven’t started watching this show yet but I’m very excited it came to the states. This British show is bound to keep tensions high as a bodyguard, who previously served in Afghanistan, takes on dangers at home. Just watch one clip of the show and you’ll see how intense it is, in the best of ways.

How To Get Away With Murder

I know this isn’t the newest show on Netflix but it deserves some love. This show is basically the poster child for a Netflix binge. It stars Viola Davis, one of our Queens here at Metiza, as the notorious defense attorney Annalise Keating and her law students as they navigate through the constant trouble that keeps coming their way. Netflix has the first four seasons and after that you’ll have to switch over to Hulu. But trust me when I say that it’s worth it.

Regardless of your holiday plans, or lack thereof, these shows are bound to give you the break you deserve. Happy Netflix binging!
