Are you actually the person you say you want to be? Do your words, actions, choices, and behaviors reflect the version of yourself you feel best about?
Do you love people in the way they want to be loved? Do you go the extra step? Do you listen to understand? Do you lean towards vulnerability? Do you acknowledge and own your mistakes?
But really…are you proud of who you are?
Are you confident that others would describe you in the way you ideally want to be describe?
What does it mean to you to “be that person”?
Who is that person? What does that person stand for? What does THAT person prioritize? How does THAT person leave others feeling? How does THAT person love others? How do they honor and respect others? How do they communicate? How do they love? How do they listen? How do they apologize? How do they take ownership? How do they show gratitude? How do they forgive…and fight…and recover?
Look at yourself. That’s the point. Yes, some of this may sting, but that’s the point. If you can be better….be better. If you know that your words and actions are not reflecting the best version of yourself, lean into that space.
We ALL have room to rise up.
We ALL have room to lean in and identify where in our lives we get in our own way.
Decide how you want to be. Decide what areas need your attention. And then live one day at a time committed to showing up in that space more.
